Who is clean? (7:24-30)

We look at the situation leading up to the casting out of an unclean spirit from the daughter of the Syro-Phoenician woman. We see the dispute about what makes people clean or defiled is brought out in Christ’s dealings with this woman.

The ‘clean’ religious leaders remain defiled in their hearts but this ‘unclean’ woman has the joy of knowing Christ is her master who answered her plea for cleansing.
