He was sure that the Lord would give him a son, and then many descendants, and that one of those descendants would be the Saviour of the world. The son was born and grew to become a fine young man. But then the Lord told Abraham to kill the son on whom all his hopes rested. What would Abraham do now?

And God has honoured that faith. Abraham has become the father of a vast family. And he will enjoy an eternal home.
