2 Corinthians (127)
Paul's opponents despised him for his poverty. But why should he be ashamed? Through his poverty he was making many people rich.
Is it possible to rejoice when your heart is breaking? Paul says yes.
Paul was evidently afflicted by God. But did that mean that he was being punished for his sins? He seemed to be a dying man. But was his life over?
Paul was labelled an imposter but was utterly committed to truth. He was unknown to society, but well-known where it really matters.
Paul's temptations came from all directions. Yet through them all he remained a consistent follower of Jesus.
