A day of the Son of Man (17:20-37)

How we long for “a day of the Son of Man”: an event that will be an unquestionable sign to the world that He is King and that His Kingdom is a reality.  But Jesus did not give the pharisees the signs they demanded; He does not give the world now the signs it demands.   Our eyes must be set on the day of the Son of Man – the day when Jesus returns.
