Cultural Christianity & the Message of the Cross (Part 1)
I hope it’s in your diary! This year’s God’s Glory our Joy conference – planned for Saturday 10th October... What’s the subject this year? Cultural Christianity & the Message of the Cross.
Cultural Christianity & the Message of the Cross (Part 2)
I hope you’ve read and digested the first part of this article. In it we asked some basic questions. What is a Christian? What is the chief work which Christians – as Christians – are called to do in this world? So now we’re ready to turn to the topic we’re planning to deal with at this year’s conference: Cultural Christianity & the Message of the Cross.
GGOJ 2026: Cultural Christianity
This year the God's Glory, Our Joy conference will be held on Saturday 10th October at The Emmaus Church Centre, Warrington.
Sunday – A day for the Lord?
Christians from other churches are often surprised by the fact that we still hold Sunday evening meetings. Some are frankly baffled. ‘Why on earth would you want to do that? What are they for?’
The Apostles’ Creed
Before you go to bed tonight, put aside some time to read and re-read the Apostles’ Creed. Over the centuries, Christians have drawn up many creeds. But the best-known of them all (at least in this country) is the Apostles’ Creed.
Thank you for visiting our website. We hope you enjoy it and find it helpful. Why not come along to one of our meetings? They are friendly, easy to follow and present bible teaching relevant to life today. Ever asked yourself “What is a Christian?” then find out what the Bible says.
We meet at 290 Edgeley Road, Cheadle Heath, Stockport, SK3 0RJ just 20 minutes from Manchester. If you are a Christian in need of fellowship or someone wanting to know more about the Bible and the way of salvation through Jesus then contact us. We look forward to seeing you.
