We review the teaching of Ezekiel chs 40-43. What a wonderful picture they give us of the glory of the Church!

In his vision, Ezekiel saw the temple where God would dwell among his people. Set within the temple an altar stood like a mountain with fire burning on its summit.

The temple of Jerusalem was magnificent but it was defiled, abandoned, doomed. Yet Ezekiel need not despair. God showed him the blueprint for an everlasting temple.

Ezekiel was warned that as long as this world lasts, enemies will assault God's people. But God is their defender, and every enemy must be destroyed in the end.
